Dragon Ball Minus / Bardock: The father of Goku

What you are going to read below is my attempt at combining and making sense of the two titles above...

We will start with what we are scrapping

Goku being a baby when being sent off (FOG)

Beginning of minus we will swap the mystery Saiyan Bardock is working with out with his actual team

Goku being sent off 3mo before the destruction on planet Vegeta (DB Minus)

Ok now to begin mashing.....

The story will start with the events on planet Kanasa

After all the planets inhabitants are seemingly destroyed, Bardock and his crew Fasha Tora Borgos and Shugesh are celebrating their victory when a remaining Kanassan Warrior jumps from the rubble and catches Bardock off guard. He gave Bardock the ability to see into the future... Bardock faints and his crew takes him back to planet Vegeta. During his recovery he gets all types of visions of future events such as the destruction of planet Vegeta at Frieza’s hands along with visions of his son Kakarott fighting against Frieza. He soon awakens and brushes the visions off as just a dream. He is then informed that his team was preparing to set out on another mission so he rushes off to catch up with them before they leave. He and his team are off on missions nonstop for the next two years going from planet to planet never stopping home. One day while He and his team are on a distant planet ridding it of its inhabitants for lord Frieza.

They get a message from (Base)

All Saiyans must return to planet Vegeta immediately!

Bardock now very paranoid due to his frequent visions quickly becomes suspicious...

They all quickly finish off the remaining inhabitants and begin to talk with one another.

It’s been a while since we’ve been back says Fasha... Yeah, I’ve never heard of anything like this before says Borgos

I’d like to know what this is all about. Apparently it was an order from that damn Frieza himself says Bardock. Hahaha Bardock always thinking someone is out to get you! Your thinking too much says Tora.

Whatever lets go replies Bardock as he walks toward his pod.

They all enter their pods and take off for planet Vegeta...

As they approach Bardock notices Frieza’s ship outside and gets a very bad feeling. Just then another vision of the destruction of Planet Vegeta flashes before his eyes. Bardock keeps this to himself like always he knew the others would just laugh it off and call him crazy. When they land he goes home and warns his wife Gine about it. She brushes it off saying Bardock is too paranoid.  He then asks where their son Raditz is she tells him he’s on a mission with prince Vegeta then he turns to look at his youngest son in his incubator. He demands they send him away but she believes Bardock is just being silly and needs rest and refuses.

Meanwhile in space Frieza talks with Dadoria and Zarbon .They inform him that it will take a good three months before most of the Saiyans return home ... Just then they receive news that Bardock and his team have returned from their last mission. Recent news reveals that the Saiyans' strength constantly grows after each battle. Zarbon informs Frieza that the specific a band of low-class Saiyans that just returned had taken over Kanassa in just a few days. Dodoria states that the job to take Kanassa had been in the pool for months, and that not even Frieza's elite squadrons could take Kanassa so easily Dadoria and Zarbon suggest that Frieza handles this group of Saiyans soon stating that in three months’ time they may become strong enough to rival most if not all of Frieza’s elites.. Frieza laughs this off but to humor them Dodoria and his elite fighters are ordered to eradicate Bardock and his teammates.

The next day Bardock is being checked out in the “hospital” claiming something is wrong with his head. Meanwhile his team is given another mission directly from Frieza himself to clear the civilization of Planet Meat and are ordered to set out immediately.

Bardock is still in the healing chamber a series of test are being performed on him. Just then Bardock gets another one of those visions again of the same thing the destruction of planet Vegeta at the hands of Lord Frieza followed by a vision of his son.  The Doctor stops the test he feels something is going wrong so they pull him out of the chamber Bardock seems normal and insists he’s fine and asks about his team. The doctor informs him that they were sent out on a mission some hours ago by Lord Frieza himself while Bardock was being tested. Bardock excited by the news puts his armor on and takes off running.  

He runs into Gine who is standing outside of (the infant recruit room….in the window you can see young kakarott having a series of test being performed on him). He tells her he’s going on a mission directly from Frieza and is happy about his team finally being recognized he hugs her and continues to run. He and goes to join his team on Planet Meat, but soon finds out his friends are all dead. Bardock's team was defeated by Dodoria and his elites. He battles the ones responsible, easily defeating them all, but is overwhelmed by a single mouth blast from Dodoria. He is left for dead, but manages to survive and make it back to Planet Vegeta. He passes a pod containing his son Kakarott on the way in. Bardock attempts to inform the Saiyans of the danger that they are all, since he has now realized that Frieza is going to destroy them all, everyone laughs at his claim and Bardock sets out by himself on one final assault against Frieza.

Bardock succeeds in killing many of Friezas minor soldiers and sends a Final Spirit Cannon to Frieza himself. However, Frieza counters this with his Supernova, which “kills: Bardock, many of his own soldiers, and destroys Planet Vegeta itself, Frieza is seen laughing at its destruction, as well as telling Dodoria and Zarbon to watch the fireworks. After his demise, Bardock wishes his son, Kakarot, to take care. At the same moment, Kakarot, who is still in the space pod, wakes up.

Elsewhere, having just completed an assignment on a far-off world, Vegeta Raditz and nappa are informed of their homeworld's destruction. Prince vegetas pride keeps him from expressing his shock, and he remains outwardly emotionless. Soon afterward, Kakarot's space pod touches down on Earth, where he is found by an elderly man named Gohan Goku eventually falls down off the cliff and bumps his head and you guys know the rest....

If it were to continue the events of Episode of Bardock would take place.. I don’t find anything in EoB altered the actual story so I wouldn’t change anything there but I will point out my theory .  Considering the fact that DBO is canon and the events in EoB did take place in DBO one can conclude that EoB did happen .. People don’t see it this way and argue that Bardock is not the ssj of legend BUT the way I see it is that the “ Ice-Jin “ and the Saiyans both speak of two different legends. This makes sense considering vergetas storys of the ssj consist of the Golden ape and in his story the ssj of legend could only maintain this state in the golden ape form etc the “Ice-Jin” however speak of the actual ssj form that we all know from the actual series …
